#AskEden - Broken!?

It seems my little nite warming friend was not as waterproof (probably more like me-proof) as claimed. We hadn't even gotten to do fun and dirty things together. I was simply cleaning him up and testing if he was waterproof. After submerging him for 10 secs, I opened his battery compartment to find a little moisture. I patted what I could dry and let him air out. Later I popped some batteries in (for the first time...should have checked that before, eh?) and was saddened to find that he was dead. I tried a different pair of batteries but they couldn't send a rubble to my "little" buddies motor either.

A few hours later, I've happened to take him apart and I'm wondering if I could stick a new motor up my dear Nite Warmer?

You shouldn't modify any toy because it could be risky. That is something you do on your own risk. Sorry you have a bunk Nite Warmer.

I wouldn't try to put a motor in it..what if the motor was too powerful and caught on fire mid use...ouch!....There are way too many risks of trying to modify a toy. If you really want to try it it I suggest buying a new one and trying out the batteries first. There is no way to tell if your Nite Warmer was dead pre or post water.

Wow, I did not expect this many replies so soon.lol I have a problem with trying to fix electronics, but I guess I'll give up on this one because I don't want a serious fire anywhere near my bits and pieces

Js250: I guess it's waterproof/dishwasher safe Now! YAY!

I don't think it would be right to do that now that I've taken it apart, but I'll keep that in mind for next time.
