I'm confident that almost every woman on this message board and countless others are at least familiar with the 46 year old Hitachi Magic Wand. Well the new version of the Magic Wand is out and this one is cord less! That's right. Vibratex, the US distributor of the wand, finally got the hint. Model number HV-270 is its official name and it boasts other enhancements over the traditional corded model.

For the traditionalists, the new Magic Wand doesn't have the name Hitachi on it. It only reads as Magic Wand Rechargeable. The 4 intensity levels (Low – 2,700rpms, Medium – 3,800rpms, High – 5,400rpms, Ultra – 6,300rpms)and 4 vibrations patterns are another new addition over the original. This is an improvement over the original with its two speeds, crazy and insane. The new Magic Wand is said to retain its unparalleled power and deep, penetrating vibrations through its firm massaging silicone head.

Perhaps, but, in time. This one isn't cheap. I've been looking around and it retails in the $130 range. I'm a patient consumer. In time, it will only go down in price and if it doesn't I will acquire it through other means at a price that is more palatable to me. less
