I've seen a poll on here before about whether people name their sex toys or not, and it made me wonder: are people more likely to name realistic toys than non-realistic ones? You can vote on this poll anonymously.
Do you name your sex toys? Are they more "realistic" or "non-realistic"? (Are people more likely to name realistic toys? -- Anonymous voting version)

I don't name my sex toys realistic or not.I call them by either the name they are or something like the short purple one.I also don't refer to my sex toys as a gender, calling them he or she,I just say it.

I have no realistic, but I wouldn't name them even if they were.

If I had too many similar toys maybe I would name them so I could keep them straight. but they have names when you buy them anyway...
05/19/2012
Never really named any of them or had the desire to even if looking realistic.

my toys do have names, but I dont own any realistic toys...
My Ribbed Twister is Ribbit... I usually just give them weird awkward names only I would remember.

I've never really thought about naming my toys... haha.

I only named my first one ever and my first luxury one. That's it.
05/19/2012
I just call them by the manufacturer's name. I'm boring like that.
05/19/2012
i have many for different moods

Some of my toys have names, others don't. Realism doesn't really affect whether or not I name them, but it does affect how likely I am to consistently use that name.
05/19/2012
I don't give them real names. More a word or phrase that relates to it.
05/19/2012
I use their given name generally, like, Leo, Ella, Share, Mark, Adam, etc.
For not so simply named ones, I go by descriptor.
And my toys NEVER have genders. I find it annoying to even read reviews which prescribe a gender to toys.

Does the blue, pink, or white ones count as names? However, my white one is different than GF's white ones, LOL.

I don't name any of them because I suck at naming anything.
Knowing me I'd probably forget the names I'd give them :p

I didn't name them. Maybe I should??

I've never thought about naming my toys, if I did I think I might get a little worried about myself, lol. I normally just call it what's it named

Eh, I call my lipstick vibe the "Sonic Lipstick" (Doctor Who ref), but that's about it. I was going to get a particular-looking pinpoint massager here on EF, but they discontinued it - that was going to be the "Sonic Screwdriver".

I don't usually name them. but I do think of them by their product name like Mimi or Siri. The only one I don't call by its name is my Randy and that's because one of my exes is named Randy and I'd hate for someone to think I named one of my toys after him. So I changed it to my Dom's name

we usually call ours by color ,pink one, purple one and so on

Why would you name a sex toy again?
05/22/2012
I don't name them, although I do pretend it's my fiance at times

Same reason people sometimes name their cars. Actually, I've no idea precisely why, even though I do it myself.

Naming sex toys seems weird to me. About realistic, some of them are just too squishy to be useful, so I prefer plastic.
