Does it matter to you if a toy is waterproof?

Contributor: TheGreat TheGreat
I expect all of my toys to be waterproof, but of course, not all vibes are made to withstand liquids. Does it matter to you if a toy is waterproof?

I hardly ever use toys in the bath or shower, but I think it's important for my toys to be waterproof for cleaning purposes.

While I don't really have the time to take a toy in the bath and enjoy it, I do prefer waterproof because I like to get things really clean. Makes it easier if it's waterproof. Honestly, ALL toys should be! Sometimes I can take an O-ring from another product and manage to make it fit a non-waterproof toy, but not always. Still, I do that when I can that way I can properly clean the toy.

It doesn't really matter to me at all. It's a nice plus, but definitely not a requirement.

It's pretty much a must for me, both for use and for cleaning purposes. I think that the only 'keeper' toy I have that's not waterproof is the Eden bullet I got free! The only time I've been tempted to get one that's not waterproof is the Lelo toys.

It's nice because it makes cleaning easier, but otherwise I don't care.

Like a few others I don't really take the time to play in the shower. Now if I had a pool or hot tub then maybe but it would only be with the other half if I had one

Exactly! All my toys are waterproof because of that reason.

I pretty much never use toys under water, or even just in the shower. But it does make cleaning much easier, so I do have a *slight* preference for waterproof toys.

It's pretty important for me but it's not a complete deal breaker. I did get Siri after all. And I plan to get the erosillator.

Me too! I have a few things that are not waterproof and cleaning them is a big pain in the butt!

It doesn't matter to me much because I rarely use toys in water. My favorite toy is not waterproof and I'm fine with it.

I agree, it makes it better for cleaning purposes but I rarely take them in the bath or shower.

If I'm going to shell out a lot of cash/points, it better be waterproof.

I don't normally take toys into the shower or bath, but being waterproof makes them easier to clean which is a major plus. So it's not really a deciding factor for me.

Being waterproof makes clean up a snap. I don't like to buy non-waterproof toys for that reason.

You know, I typically don't use my toys in the water anyway, but it is a nice feature to have in case I start to.
