I like both, but prefer waterproof.
Does it matter to you if a toy is waterproof?

It's pretty much mandatory for my toys to be at least splashproof, with waterproof being preferred. Vibes, with very few exceptions, are largely a shower- or bath-only thing for me, while the bed is a dildo-only zone.

I never use them in water, but it sure makes it easier to clean.

If it's not waterproof, I'm probably not gonna buy it unless it's something special. I love being able to take them into the shower with me to play with them or clean them

Even if I don't always take a vibe into the bath or shower, ect, I always like knowing that I at lead have the option to. I don't like to be limited by non-waterproof toys. Cleaning is also so much easier when its waterproof so I'm more likely to use those. Why waste time cleaning a toy that I might break if not super careful with when I can easily wash a waterproof toy without that worry.

If it's not waterproof I don't feel like I can clean it well enough. Also, I do occasionally take toys in the shower.

I'm another one that prefers waterproof for cleaning purposes. I don't worry near so much about something getting ruined just because water/cleanser went the wrong way.

It does matter a bit. But it depends on the toy.

It really depending upon the toy and where it will be used which does make it matter a lot. Being waterproof does making cleanup easy. Using a water based lube will also have a bearing on whether or not some part of the toy will be affected. For the most part, I usually look for waterproof type of toys.

I like mine in the shower! But then sometimes I get nervous the toy is going to break (get water in it) and that stresses me out.

it matters to me tons. i dont normally take them in the shower or bath but just in case i want to and for cleaning its good for them to be waterproof
