Packaging doesn't sway my initial decision, but once I've gotten a toy the packaging definitely figures into what my favorite manufacturers/companie s are. I mean, who DOESN'T like fancy packaging? Of course, I still like products that don't have super fancy packaging. I really like it when toys come with a cloth bag that you can store them in.

I do like nice packaging but I won't buy a poorly reviewed toy just because of the box. If there are two toys that are about the same then I'll probably break the tie with who has the nicest box for storage, or which one comes with a pouch.
