So I have recently invested in the Jopen Intensity! I am worrying early when I start to talk about this, I know, but I am wondering about what to use after the Electrode Gel that comes with it runs out.
I have only found one other kind of electrode gel on eden, does anyone else know of more?

I actually sent a message last night to someone from pipedream and when I hear back I'll pass it on. I ordered this to use with my intensity. It arrived yesterday. I was just about to use it when I thought it might be best to verify it is safe to use internaly. There isn't anything on the box saying not to use it internally. The ingredients look okay, but there are some I don't know what they are. I have never used the gel that came with my intensity. I am very allergic to parabens! I have been putting a little extra lube on the stimulation plates and this works just fine! I looked on line and found lots of electro gel, but none of them listed their ingredients. I love that this one is paraben free!

I am hoping this is good for the intensity, so I can use it on it after I run out.

I'd be curious to see what they say. I think, if the ingredients are the same as the one that comes with the Intensity, I'd probably go ahead and try it.

Gosh, I want the Intensity so badly. I thought I saw somewhere that you could use something else besides electrode gel, but don't take my word for it.

The ingredients of the Jopen electrode gel are as follows:
Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water, Humectant Polymers (acrylic acid/cellulose polymer), Propylparaben, Methylparaben, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Yellow #5
The ingredients of the Shock Therapy Electro-Sex Gel are:
Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Zinc Gluconate, Magnesium Aspartate, Copper Gluconate, Carboxymethyl Hydroxyethylcellulose, Carbomer, Sodium Chloride (Natural Salt), Diazolidinyl Carbamide, Sodium Hydroxide (pH Modifier), Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate
They seem pretty different to me, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Sammi do you think as an EF employee you might get a faster response from pipedream? Although to be fair it hasn't been very long since I asked. Do we have any pharmacists here or other health care workers who could weigh in on the safety of this product for internal use?

I don't have Intensity yet, but going to... I don't say I would try it on it, neither I wouldn't... I would be sitting on the topic, wondering, fussing, then would do the research like you do, and do what sounds provenly safe...

I don't have one.

Whether on here or in a message, I'm super curious about this.

I just heard back from pipedream and was told it is not at this time recomended for internal use. But he is going to check with product development.
Aw, rats!

I don't own an Intensity, I don't think will purchase one either. Too big of an investment for something that only has 3 months warranty.

Not recommended? Hmmm... Too late. I already tried it. It's not as thick as the gel that comes with Intensity. I actually use it both on the plates and as a lube with Intensity. I haven't experienced any problem. I'm super prone to yeast infections and it hasn't caused any. I haven't noticed any side effects. I've used it about a dozen times.

Well looking at the ingredients I dont see anything that causes concern, although there are some I am unfamiliar with. I have it and I have been thinking about trying it but since it wasn't recomended I havent been brave enough yet. But since you think it's okay I'm going to go for it.

I used it last night and it was fine! Now I have begun to worry about long term use. Really it didnt feel that much different than when I cover the stim plates with a thick coat of h2o ride. I will just keep doing that.

Well if ever you were going to get her one using the 30% off coupon would be the time! However if she doesn't really want it, and she doesnt really need it, I would find out what she really does want!

That's a good point. I do worry about burns (not sure I'd be able to feel them internally), but maybe lube is good enough to prevent that.

I don't use the included Jopen gel because it has parabens so I'm going to try the fetish fantasys electrode gel.

I avoid parabens so I wouldn't buy the Jopen gel. These two gels aren't the only ones on the market. I'd pick a gel specifically sold for medical use and not gels sold by companies who market "novelty" items.

To be safe, you should just buy it off Jopen's website.

Have you ever tried it? What toys have you tried it on?
How did it work out for you?
Do you think it is safe for insertion?

I've always wanted to try Jopen's Intensity, but I didn't know there was such hassle about the gel. Try asking Eden to supply it, but I wouldn't jump the gun and buy the gel that eden offers unless you are sure it will not harm your Jopen.

I'm not worried about the toy! The product is designed to be used on stimulation plates, and there isn't any silicone in it, so it should be fine for the toy. I'm way more concerned about my body. Not all products that are safe for your skin are meant to be used internally.

The ingredients are safe enough to be used internally, I would guess and it does work for electro-stim play.
