How high have you had it with watch battery vibes?

Contributor: Woman China Woman China
Implus-o!!! I saw this... I cannot remember exactly how I got to that page, but I did. And I think it is such a swell looking toy... then I saw it takes watch batteries and I got totally turned off this fun, bright looking toy.

And then I got to thinking. How many of you have had it up to here (above head) with watch batteries?

This toy looks wonderful and I love that it is available in orange. It was immediately gift wished but then I had the "eww, it's a bullet" moment. Don't get me wrong, bullets are great, but they also have their place- which is not a $40.00 sex toy. I'm glad I'm not the only one who was disappointed this was powered by watch batteries.

I know that feeling!!! I like my bottle rocket vibe by Evolved... uber powerful on a AA, but I do not think I will ever buy another toy that needs watch batteries. Just too... troublesome.

I'm pretty sure all those little bullets are run by watch batteries. Just a fact of life, if you want one you have to deal with them. Personally I try to own as few as possible because of the batteries.

I refuse to buy them. Basically, once the batteries go out, so does my tolerance. Thats it for the toy. When the batteries are the most expensive component of a toy, I get worried, anyway.

Definitely agreed....this one looked so awesome, but watch batteries drive me all kinds of crazy...maybe if it was about half the price I'd get it. It's a shame because it's such an interesting shape.

Really funny. But yeah, they do suck, the batteries are hard to find and expensive!

I hate watch batteries too, but I don't let it stop me from buying a great toy. Most all of our cock rings and bullets take watch batteries.

I hate watch batteries or any others (for that matter) that don't come in a rechargerable form.

I hate the watch batteries too. I bought one toy with watch batteries. We used it one time and the power was so lacking we got rid of it. I vowed to never waste my time or money with toys requiring watch batteries again!

I hate watch batteries. They end up costing more than the toy.

I really don't mind N batteries, though. Walgreens carries them. They are really strong considering my 80MM RO bullet is amazing and runs on N batteries.

watch batteries are such a hassle because you never have them in stock and they are always more expensive...I just hate it...

I don't waste my money on them. Even if by some miracle they actually had some power... they still cost way too much replace! Especially since they don't seem to last long.

I don't see why they even make them use those at all.

I've never had a watch battery-powered toy. If I see that a toy runs on watch batteries, I try to find another similar toy that runs on AA or AAA instead, and if there is none I just skip it. Watch batteries are just more expensive and more of a hassle to get. Plus in a pinch, if you search long and hard enough, you're more likely to find spare AA or AAA batteries laying around your house than watch batteries.
