I have both and for the most part I prefer the Wahl. The 2nd speed is to die for, so deep it's amazing, and it is a lot quieter. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the semi-hard PVC attachments. I wish they would make some softer silicone ones.

Well, I use the Wahl more often because the Hitachi is so loud. One day when I was home alone I turned the Hitachi on and put it under the covers, shut my door and walked around the house. I could hear it in my kids rooms, so I don't use the Hitachi often, but I like it better.

I've used both, and I just find the Hitachi Magic Wand so much more comfortable and easier to use. The Wahl is far more awkward and the default hard plastic it comes with is not very comfortable for me. I can hump the Wand. XD

I don't have the Wahl, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but I like my Hitachi. A lot. I'm really curious about the Wahl, especially because I've heard it's rumblier than the Hitachi, but--correct me if I'm wrong--it looks like it's better for more pinpoint stimulation, which isn't my preferred way of getting off.

Honestly? Neither. I hate the hitachi. It gets too hot, numbs me, and doesn't get me off at all. Like it never has. It's like trying to orgasm on the vibrations of a tractor in my opinion... it's not what it's designed for and it shows. But I require pressure, and the Wahl doesn't offer that either. I prefer toys smartly designed for clitoral stimulation.

I have both; just received the Wahl two days ago.
I had heard so much about the Hitachi that I made that my first vibrator purchase. I was so disappointed that it is so buzzy & offered only shallow, surface stimulation; it makes me itch & then numbs me out and I don't receive any bit of pleasure from it. So, I figured I'd try an attachment & bought the silicone Gee Whizzard, (which cost more than the massager did). That didn't help at all and combined, I was out to the tune of about $90!
As I read more on EF, I found out that there are vibrators that offer a different type of vibration, a rumbly vs buzzy feel. Others who had similar reactions as I did to the Hitachi, were recommending the Wahl, so I looked into it. Imagine my surprise to discover it for only $14 on another site, (not currently sold on EF). I figured, for the price, I could afford to find out if rumbly & powerful are my things. WooHoo! Now I understand what all the fuss is about vibrators!
I only wish there were silicone or other premium material attachments available for the Wahl. Sure, it came with different heads & you can get even more, but I want ones specifically designed for sexual use. Right now, I can only find one insertion type attachment, but it's out of stock & I can't find detailed info about it, e.g., material, measurements, etc.
I did learn a Wahl trick from a video that some might not know. The facial massage attachment included with the Wahl can be used with a suction bottom dildo or a flat bottomed silicone dildo to create a vacuum/suction that holds the dildo to the unit. I can attest to this suction tip working for the flat bottom silicone dildo, but I don't know how well it lasts during play because I mistakenly bought a dildo that's too big for me to insert comfortably.
