Hitachi review on the Australian Equivalent?

Contributor: Linga Linga
I went to the trouble and expense of buying the Medsil Magic Touch which is the Australian equivalent of the Hitachi Magic Wand and I would like to do a review on it. Of course EF only has the Hitachi and I was wondering if it would be a problem to do one under the Hitachis name. I was assured by the seller of the Medsil that it is an exact technical duplicate of the Hitachi apart from the power it needs (it needs 240v to work here).

My question is would this be a problem? I thought I would make sure before doing a review

It also, from what I've read, has a silicone head.

I may or may not be a bit envious.

It came with a silicone cap but that was separate. The actual head is metal and it has a padded sort of vinyl cover which they say is for actual massages

Seems like a question best directed to the admins. *shrug* Never really thought about something like that before. It's a good question.

I did buy the hitachi, and didnt really like it .
I then brought the fairy wand version which I love, it has better adjustments with its dial so you can go slower or ramp it right up. Unlike the hitachi version the medisil that has just 3 speeds.

It is my personal favourite if a bit loud.

But then again the kids do see us use it for sore necks, shoulders and backs so we get around it that way

You should seriously consider investing in something like the Eroscillator or the Smart Wand by Lelo. The Hitachi is too intense for clitoral stimulation. At first I'm sure it felt great but it will soon counteract itself. The vibration is so intense that it will cause desensitization through nerve damage and micro-tears. You can rehabilitate the area using toys with medical grade silicone... that is the exact purpose for the Eroscillator. Please do not ever use the Hitachi for anything other than muscle relief... on the low setting.

I thought the Medsil Magic Touch was the Hitachi, only branded differently. The other difference is that the Medsil is 220/240V with a prong/plug designed for Australia. Other than that, I believe they are identical. But, I could be wrong.
