I recently did a review for a toy that had a very big girth. And on the box actually says "external use only" So throughout my review I say that. But after speaking to Carrie Ann, there are actually quiet a few who can handle and enjoy this girth. So my question is, can you handle the toys with big girths and what do you think of them?
Everybody is different. I certainly have toys with girth this large. My Man has girth this size. If a reviewer can't accommodate a toy, it isn't an indictment on her or him, but do expect that many people do enjoy large toys with wide girth.
My assumption is the "for external use only" is a "Cover Your Ass" insurance thing, like stickers on ladders, not to use the top rung (despite the fact that experienced users do all the time) and the Wahl, which says, "Not for use on genitalia." Yet. that is the main reason the Wahl is purchased.
Those "warnings" are often for insurance purposes, you have to use common sense. Some inflatable toys for anal use say "Not for vaginal use." And they are right, air in the vagina is dangerous, it could cause an air embolism. Some toys are not for anal use, and say so, because they don't have a base to protect your body from sucking it in, anally.
My guess is this toy says that due to insurance, like SO many sex toys say "Novelty use only." It's to cover the asses of the people who make them from people who do things with the toys that might hurt that individual person and the companies don't want to be held responsible.
But, yet, I have toys this large, have NO trouble accommodating them. I ENJOY large toys used vaginally. But, that's just me. I understand that not everyone likes what I like, but I don't tell people, say, that "no one" could take, say, an anal plug that I might find too large for me. In that type of toy, I tend to like them smaller. I CAN take them, but chose not to.
As long as the toy is safe for certain uses, I don't make assumptions about what other people can handle.
Don't feel pressured to "take" a toy that is too large for you, but understand that vaginal capacity to stretch varies, and often varies due to experience. NEVER use a toy to the pain point, (I mean, unless it's a BDSM toy) and don't feel you have to hurt yourself. But, still understand that MANY people can and do enjoy and use toys that may not be to your liking.
That's all.
