Liv bit the dust! :( Need opinions on replacement!

Contributor: OhMy! OhMy!
My Liv has died, suddenly. I accidentally got put in the washer with our sheets, and drowned!

Anyway, while my husband and I have enjoyed it for the smooth texture, ease of use, and "friendly" shape and size, my only complaint has been that I wish it had one more level of "oomph".

So, fellow eden members, what would your suggestions be for a more powerful, but similarly sized and feeling replacement?

I'd wonder if the Uma would work ? It's a similar shape and size and it's totally smooth with no drag.

I've heard that LELO tends to be on the weaker side, though I've never used any of their products to compare, from what I've heard I would guess the Uma is more powerful.

Have you ever used the Uma, or any of their other products?. We've added it to our list, and we'll have to read some of the reviews to see what's up.

Lelo has a ten year guarantee, but I don't know if it covers getting put in the wash.

Yep, my review is up, too.

The Uma is the strongest vibrator I have besides the wands I own. It's deep and rumbly and it goes slightly stronger than the MiMi, Tango/Salsa, or any given member of the Leaf line.

I'm not sure how it compares to Jopen (I've heard they're stronger and rumblier than the Leaf line), but their forms are a lot different.

Form 6 is similar in shape, but I'd check out buzzvibe's review especially before plunking down that much cash for something that might not work for you.

We'd bet they don't have a 10-year guarantee against us stupidly not seeing it when we put the sheets in the wash!

Many thanks for the info. We'll definitely be taking a look at these and comparing the features, etc!

I HATED the Jopen silicone compared to the Lelo silicone. Just didn't work for me.

Oh really? How so? Was it not as silky, or just an entirely different feel?

It's worth a shot to contact LELO and see if you can get your LIV replaced for half price under their 10-year guarantee. Just shoot them an email to customercare@lelo.com and explain the situation -- the worst they can do is say no.
Otherwise, if you're looking for more power with a similar shape/functions to LIV, go for ISLA. It's waterprof too, just in case it gets thrown in with the laundry again

Good point. We will follow-up with them and see what the verdict is!
