It doesn't surprise me at all. I mean the Hitachi Magic Wand doesn't exactly sell because people want it to use on their backs...Philips is just jumping on the bandwagon of sex toys. It must be a profitable industry to be in. Companies like California Exotic and Doc Johnson can make a few good toys and a lot of crappy ones and still be operating just fine, so it can't be too hard to sell sex toys to stressed out and frazzled people these days.

Personally, I am excited about these. They at least look high quality, and it is always great to have another company making good quality toys that won't break after one use. Philips makes a lot of different products, from food processors to TV's. They should be able to handle making an awesome vibrator. I'm excited to see what all they make next as I doubt one line of massagers will be the end of it.
