Do you prefer Rechargeable or Batteries?

99% of the time I prefer rechargeable, but it's nice to have one or two battery toys on hand

I prefer toys with built-in rechargeable batteries, they tend to last longer & are more powerful over the replaceable battery kind. I've found with the ones that take normal batteries, that rechargeable batteries tend to last significantly less time.

Just like you I tend to buy only rechargeable vibes, that are not only easier to use, but are better for our environment (the so-called "green toys")

It actually depends on the batteries being used. If the battery is a hard to find non standard size I prefer a rechargeable battery. If the battery is a standard size I prefer a non rechargeable battery due to the fact that you would never be out of power when the mood hits. I usually upgrade all my batteries with high capacity NI-MH batteries (Nickel–metal hydride battery) or lithium-ion. I am actually surprised EF doesn't sell them. Toys take a lot of current and cause drain these batteries make them last longer.

This is an unpopular opinion, but I prefer batteries! I don't use toys terribly often so I don't go through whole boxes of batteries trying to keep them charged. With batteries, you can simply replace them if they run down and then go right back to whatever - or whoever - you were doing before the toy died, but with a rechargeable toy, you have to wait hours for it to get its charge back. That really kills the mood. Also, I suck at keeping track of my charging cords and am always afraid I will lose them. I still buy rechargeable toys, since I'm more interested in the specs of the toy itself than the charging method, but it's always a bit of a let-down when I find a toy I love and it is rechargeable.

I preferred batteries for years. I recently started getting rechargeable ones this year and now prefer those. I've only had one time so far where I went to grab my viva la wand and it wouldn't turn on! Luckily I have plenty of other toys to choose from, although I did have my mind set on the wand I definitely didn't wait for it to be charged.

I definitely prefer rechargeable. They're typically a little more expensive upfront, but they save money in the long run. Also, rechargeable toys often seem to be more powerful (although there are a couple battery-operated toys that have pleasantly surprised me with their level of power). I also really hate dicking around with constantly taking the batteries in and out of my battery-operated toys; I want them to last as long as possible, so I try to always be a good girl and remove the batteries before putting it away after I'm done using it, but it's definitely an annoyance, especially when toys have battery compartments that are infuriatingly difficult to open and/or close.

However, all that being said, a toy being non-rechargeable isn't a total deal-breaker for me if it has enough other features that appeal to me. I have a few battery-operated toys that I really enjoy. Granted, I'd still prefer if they were rechargeable, but rechargeability matters less to me than things like material, size, and features.

Definitely prefer rechargeable, since there’s less hassle that way

For me it really doesn't matter because I buy rechargeable batteries trust me they're worth the price in the long run.

Rechargeable for sure! The only con to rechargeable is when the toy runs out of charge and dies??
then you have to wait for it to charge back up again, but with a battery operated you can just swap out the old ones for some new batteries and be good to go.

My first toys were all on the cheaper side, and all battery operated. They get the job done but after getting a rechargeable vibrator off Amazon at 18 I realized how many batteries I waste!

I only use rechargeable toys now

I prefer rechargeable. My experience has been that the rechargeable toys have a more powerful zoom than the battery operated toys.

I just got my first rechargeable bullet vibrator a few weeks ago (ocean love from edenfantasys, of course) and I haven't even reached for my battery operated one since.

They're more expensive up front, but the convenience far outweighs the overall cost. Not to mention if it's a toy you love and use a lot, the cost of batteries would easily catch up to the initial money you save on buying battery operated.

Not to mention the inevitable moment when you're mid-masturbation and your batteries run out. So long as you plug in your rechargeable ones every now and again, you can avoid this issue entirely.

I have yet to see any way in which battery operated sex toys are better than rechargeable.

Rechargeable all the way. It's way more convenient and I can leave it charging while I do other stuff and it'll be ready when I need it. No need to go digging in drawers for batteries while having my sensation die down and be mad because the batteries were old lol lol..

I definitely feel like it's more sustainable to be rechargeable and the toy is built better when it's meant for rechargeable use!

Rechargeable are great, but if broke you can't save it, with batteryes you can try and change them because after a while they don't work anymore

I don't care, the main thing is that the toy is made qualitatively, and everything else is small things, you can also take rechargeable batteries and there will be no problems.
