Roller coaster vs escalating vibration patterns

Does anyone else get these two mixed up and confused? I have trouble keep which is which straight.

sometimes I think the two are easy to be confused, so I have to read a few reviews to make sure everyone is on the same page.

in my opinion, roller coaster is a pattern that goes up and down, and an escalating pattern just goes up, then up, then up.

Of course, the escalating pattern does eventually drop back down to a lower level of vibrations, only to rise up again.

So, I can see how the two can be confused.
