We-Vibe Salsa - Sharp?

Contributor: Love Perpetua Love Perpetua
So, I recently purchased the We-Vibe Salsa, and as it turns out there is a sharp edge at the very tip that feels like a jagged piece of plastic. Maybe where the mold was poured? It hurts when I use it Is everyone else's like this or did I get a defective one?

I was super excited about this, but now I really wish I had gotten the MiMi instead

Advice? Help?

Ooo, I'm sorry. My Tango sort of has this - a mould spot, but it's not poke-y.

Is there any plastic that is "loose" that you could pick off ? This happened to my Tango, I remember - picked it off no problem. Or maybe carefully run a nail file across the mould-overflow part.

Otherwise, I'd open a support ticket.

I don't have the Salsa or the Tango, but this is pretty much exactly what I was going to suggest

I don't have one, but if it's too much you can submit a support ticket b/c EF has a great return policy.

Mine isn't like that. What Chirple suggested is good! If you want a replacement submit a support ticket.

I was thinking a nail file, too. Might need to use a metal one (lightly!) if the plastic is tough, though.

The nail file is a good idea, but I am afraid to void the warranty or anything.

It's a bummer because it is otherwise nice and strong for something so petite! I was unsure if this is something that is on every one, and I am just sensitive, or if there is something wrong with mine in particular. It sounds like maybe there is something wrong with mine. Opening up a support ticket or doing a return is a good idea, but somehow I would feel guilty about returning something I have opened and tried using. Would that be okay?

I have the Tango, I don't have this issue.

Yeah, it should be okay. Eden seems to be good about returns. There's no need to feel guilty about returning the vibe. You paid for a product, and it's not your fault you ended up with a defective product (that HURTS, no less!).

Open that ticket!

I wouldn't ever feel guilty about returning a product that has a defect or issue with it. That's why they have warranties and Eden has return policies. Since others don't seem to have the issue you report, I would definitely submit a ticket.
