What would you say are "disturbing" qualities to a toy?

Contributor: Bethy Cassatt Bethy Cassatt
Would anything about a toy that would make you feel scared/feel like the toy is wrong? In my opinion, play with whatever you want, as long as no one gets hurt against their will, but the reeeaalllyyyy realistic dildos scare me, like the ones modeled after real people.

What about you guys?

While I think that it's great that there are so many realistic toys out there, and I certainly don't think less of the people who review them, there are a few toys that I would find 'disturbing' to see in my boyfriends room. These would be the 'full body' ones, like the Fuck Me Silly series.

I don't like realistic disembodied parts, they creep me out. But to each their own, I suppose. I try not to judge masturbators because it's not like I'm shopping for one, but the one with the vagina located directly between the boobs, and no other body features at all -- ugh.

The full body ones freak me out a little bit too.

I don't like the body part ones that look like a bisected woman.

Not a fan of anything that resembles body parts. I like my toys to be toys.

I realistic toys! I'll review them for you all.

Haha, yeah. Not judging those who like them, I just tend to like to use my own body parts for "getting the job done" instead of toys that were designed in the image of someone else's parts.

Then there are things like the Double Dong with Balls....

I think the only ones that I find disturbing are the ones that have half the body but are missing the arms, legs and head. Too each their own though, as for realistic I love them!!

With everyone else on the half body ones. They creep me out. I don't really care if people use them, but I wouldn't personally want one in my house.

Realistic toys freak me out, the less like a male penis it looks, the better. I also wouldn't be able to do anything that resembled food or an animal. amorphic is best for me.

I actually like the realistic toys a lot. Realistic feeling is more important than realistic looking, though. I like weird and unusual toys, though, as I consider them art items more than anything. I'm sure some of the more unique items in my collection might creep people out.

I love realistic so far I haven't really seen any toys that have really freaked me a bit except maybe the new Frankenstein and Zombie dildos by Fleshlight and even then I'd probably still give them a go.

hehe me too!!

I think the only thing that really "disturbs" me would be a toy that had a really strong, foul odour to it when first opening the package.

Oh wait, I actually don't like when toys have cute animal faces that are really obvious. I don't mind toys in the shape of animals but if it has big eyes and stares at me every time I use it- no thank you.

Well, I encountered a male masturbator that proudly proclaimed it featured "20 LBS of REAL ASS" once, but it was more funny than anything... kind of weird, though. That's about it.

Me too! I run from big, realistic dildos like the plague! Lol. They either scare me or creep me out, or are just plumb useless. I've never really had the need for one either -- I've got a very high sex drive'd partner! Lol. I guess that is a very good thing though. I would never use a realistic dildo because 1. I have him, he's real and NEVER turns down a chance to give it over. And 2. even if I did not have him, I'd be really creeped out by using a realistic dildo period. I am just different like that I suppose. Also, I find most of them are abnormally gigantic and that alone would make penetration impossible. They are just not attractive to me.

I love realistic, and i am ok with body parts, but there are some that freak me out cuz they are gross... like Fleshlight Freaks Zombie - it is just too disturbing, with it's realistic pieces of rotted flesh... br...

I don't like realistic looking toys or any of the disembodied parts toys. They freak me out. I'm glad a lot of people love them, but I just can't do it, myself. I don't like the Fleshlight Freaks either, especially the zombie one. The idea of fucking a rotting, disembodied cock makes me about as dry as a desert.

The Jellyfish looks like it has the texture of a brain, and it grosses me out. All those protrudin veins on that eerie blue and lavender...no thanks.
