Beautiful toy. Would it be better to buy a less expensive toy first to see if i enjoy texture?

Unless you're okay with it just being an art piece if it doesn't work out, I'd certainly try a cheaper one first.

That whole line is so pretty, though. Want. O__O

Look up the glass toys with two heads, one side has swirls and the other nubs like that one. Will give you a cheaper preview of what you like, and it won't be a waste of money if you only like one side. Like this.

Id buy a less expensive one first and if you like it buy a bit higher priced one and so on. That way you wont spend tons of money if you dont end up liking it.

If you've tried glass with nubs before, then go for it. If you like rigid toys with a lot of texture, go for it.

But, it is really really expensive. For my first glass toy, I got the Sasha Swell Wand when it was on sale for about $9. I also got the Reflections Cool as a free assignment around the same time. So I found out that I loved glass for very little money.

Pipedream's Icicles line is wonderful and very inexpensive. I own the No. 1 and the No. 8, and would love to own more. They're great to try.

I own one of the gold fumed toys. All I can say is.. I will NEVER own clear glass if I can help it.

I would definitely try something cheaper first to make sure you enjoy the texture. That one is gorgeous but very expensive.

I would always go for the cheaper toy first to see if you like texture.

Yep, agreed. I know my body extremely well and thought I would love texture, but turns out I just... don't. Better to learn that with a $20 toy than a $120 toy!

The colored glass toys are prettier than the clear ones, but a lot of other aspects are different between the 2 Rocky Road toys and personally I love the clear version of this particular glass toy best!

It's really just appearance.

The whole line is so gorgeous! Glass toys feel different to everyone though (since they're so hard). I assume you either like it or not!
