Would you want to design a solar vibe and mention your ideas to a manufacturer? :)

I was just wondering how many of you ever thought about mentioning to a manufacturer "hey, I would LOVE it if you made a solar rabbit, because you are the best!", or anything similar...

I do think that a reliable company, where they care about the material, sturdy construction and good vrooms, would make a fantastic choice to start to experiment with such a thing, and so many of us are extremely interested in using "green toys" instead of gobbling those batteries and having to rely on charging cords and waiting time...

The solar bullet is something I was so damned happy to see when I learned such a thing exists, and I think there should be more out there than trying to find good uses of solar bullets and search for do-it-yourself modifications by buying parts and worrying that one could mess up the whole toy without no previous experience of electric projects...

Shouldn't we initiate something like that, and start a "greenest Mother Earth-friendly toy revolution"?

It'd be even better if you could take the solar charging thing from the bullet and plug different types of toys into it to charge them.

The EU recently made an agreement to have new phones all use the same charging standard, so that you don't have a tangle of chargers to go with different phones, and so that they can start selling phones without chargers to people who already have the appropriate charger. Good for finances and the environment. It'd be great if toys got to that at some point.

It would be nearly impossible to design any toy with the power it requires, using current solar technology.

Oh that sounds fantastic!!!

Both the idea of the solar charger part and the EU regulation for phones!

It is very much like the history of computer hardware, there used to be so many different plugs and parts, and after a while IDE became the only manufactured connection, and drives and other parts became pretty much the same too... (It sucks a lot that you still have to look for special parts at times, especially because the best computers are built manually, and not bought as "packages" - they tend to be sold with some flaw only folks know about who are into computers... Like 3 GB memory into a laptop... Will definitely fuck the system up after a while... ^^)

I agree, let's get the same solar unit idea into the picture!

Oh c'mon, with a large enough solar panel and some way to store the juice I would definitely give it a try if I got into it!

There are all those projects and walkthroughs, and it is bugging my mind as hell that I should get a fine toy and modify it sometime in the future!
