At what age do you think people "stop having sex" often or at all?

I heard some younger nurses SHOCKED that some of the people at a retirement home were caught having intimate relations. They were in their mid 90's and both had lost their spouses YEARS before and they had met at this retirement home.

The question is...do you think at SOME age you will lose interest in SEX? What age would that be (in your mind?)

I feel that as long as the desire and ability is present, go for it!! I know my child is horrified that I might have sex at my "advanced age" of 42. It is all relative to the individuals.

I can't imagine ever losing interest in sex. It's good exercise anyway, so would be a good thing to keep doing until you're physically unable to anymore.

I hope I will continue to enjoy it throughout my life, I really think it depends on the person. There are plenty of 30 year olds in sexless marriages and plenty of older couples who have great sex lives. I guess it's whatever works for them.

I hope that my honey and I will be old and horny together, but some people do fall out of having a sexual relationship for one reason or another.

I think it's about state of mind. Also, physical factors may play a role as to why some folks stop having sex.

I'm with Mr. Tickle and Giggle. I'll stop having sex with my partner when one of us can't anymore.
