And just for the record, don't believe anyone who tells you that relationships with large age gaps are destined to fail. Alan & I were told that by several people when we first started dating... more than 2 decades ago

Twelve year difference between Master and me (46 and 34). I notice personalities first before ages. And it's nice to get to 'that certain age' when you just don't give a feck - as long as the equipment's in working order and you can have a good time when there isn't sex, then everything's fine.

I'm not in a relationship now, but I've been in a 8 year difference relationship, and I've dated older, but not seriously. Age doesn't dictate anything because chemistry and personality varies so much from person to person.
