How much of an age difference would you consider too much?

How much of an age difference would you consider too much? I've always said 15 year difference was the most a couple should be apart to have a relationship...What do you do think?

Considering I'm in a relationship that has a 19 year age difference, I don't think 15 years is too much. Age doesn't matter. I like older men and I always have. Maybe I have a daddy complex, maybe I don't. Who knows?

As long as two people are happy that is all that matters.

It depends on age. A 15 year age difference is appropriate for, say, 30 and 45 but not for 15 and 30. If both/all are able to legally consent, why does age matter to anyone else?

I personally keep my relationships between 5 years, but that's what works for me. I think that for the most part, it is between the partners involved as long as it isn't creepy. (like a 15 year old dating a 30 something.)

25 years.

I think more than 25 years is kind of pushing it, that's a whole different level of things - but I guess it depends on what you're trying to get out of the relationship in the first place.

I don't care what the age difference is between other people, so long as it's legal.

For me, I prefer to stick to a 12 year age difference or less.

I was just talking to a guy 12 years older which wasn't really the issue, but him being divorced and having teenage children was, for me, just too much of a life/lifestyle difference.

Not sure. I guess since I'm young enough I've always dated my year. I've only had partners months apart from me.

Yeah, I agree. If everyone is legal and able to give consent, who cares how many years apart they are age-wise?

If a 20 year old wants to date an 80 year old, it's not my job to be the dating police!

For me, 15 years max. What's right for everyone else may be different.

Yeah, this is how I feel. I wouldn't romantically be with someone 20-25 years my senior. For a hook-up though I wouldn't care.

I don't think anyone has the right to say what is acceptable and what isn't. I have my own peronal feelings about myself. I wouldn't be with someone more than 10 years older than me, but I would never look down on someone else that chose to be with someone much older.

Probably around 8-10 years. I always said that I would never date someone unless there like a 2-3 year difference from me but now im in a wonderful relationship with a guy thats 6 years older than me I don't think age makes a difference. I think its more of what the heart wants.
