so I was cleaning my 3 yr old last nite and when I pulled back the little bit of skin left on his penis he cried and said it hurt!He was circumsized but theres a little bit there and I figured you should clean it..he has been saying it would hurt a bit but last nite more so.Am i not suppose to clean that? Is it normal for that to hurt?

I'm not a man, but you really should have this checked out by a doctor, it should
not hurt. Since your son told you it hurt before and now it's worse, you definitely need to have it checked out. (I would never want to chance anything happening to my child's penis; I would feel horrible if there were future problems because I didn't seek help!) At the very least, you should call the doctor, tell him/her the story and see what they say.
It sound's like he might have not been fully circumcised, he healed strangely, or there is an infection or something - he may even have hurt himself somehow, though I doubt that. My brother and my nephew both had to have a follow-up in office procedure to fix their circumcisions when young, a few years after it was done. For whatever reason, the initial procedure wasn't perfect and needed to be adjusted. (At least they had doctors who erred on the side of removing too little.)
