I was with a guy that developed a bent penis in his twenties. He said it was due to trauma -- Un-knowingly restricting it while it was erect -- and it never went straight again (10+ years later)It was a noticeable sideways bend.. but it didnt impair sex or any penile functions. (I actually enjoyed the curve)

Well, he was thinking about getting penis surgery to have it straightened... (Remember he was born with a straight dick and I am guessing he's missing it)..

Is anyone familiar with the surgery? Is it worth it? I think its crazy.. but Im not a guy... so maybe Im the crazy one.

It may be causing him pain. This condition often causes pain to the man, either during or after sex, or just randomly.

I am assuming that you and he are no longer lovers? Maybe his current lover is not so enamored with the curve, or maybe HE doesn't like the way it curves.

I've known guys with Peyronies to have difficulty urinating, to have pain, to have the curvature get worse as they get older, for the scar tissue that caused the curve to cause problems.

IMO, it's his penis. If he wants the scar tissue removed and have his penis back the way he was used to it, it's really up to him.

yeah I know its his penis.. but I was wondering if there are any risks involved with the surgery and all.. I have never heard of it.. and im curious for more information about it.

from what he's told me he hasn't had any pain or discomfort from it.. its purely the fact that it didnt used to look like that.. and that is bothering him.
