Poll - Pubic hair shaving technique? (Men & Women)

I am curious what your technique is for shaving the pubic hair?


For me:
- With doesn't remove enough
-Against causes too many cuts (like including bleeding.. I guess from the hair getting pull and cutting the skin)
- But going to the side is just right. Closer than going with the grain, but not enough to cut the skin or cause super amounts of razor burn.

So I vote: #3

I use Nair Shower Power Max. Never had any problem with burning, bumps, bleeding, ext. and I have extremely sensitive skin. I can't shave the upper portion of my pubic area because I get extreme ingrown hairs that scar, even if I use salicylic acid products afterwards.


I had problems with Veet not working and causing burning, but the Nair designed specialy for course hair works great on longer stuble. I use it once a week (to allow the hair to grow out a little) then apply about 5 min before hoping in the shower, let it sit another 2-3 min in the shower then whipe it away with the sponge for a nicely groomed and soft public area.

Still leaves a little bit of stuble but the cream softens up any leftover hair and it's definitely worth it for no razor bumps or rashes.

I wouldn't advise using Nair right between your legs or near the vagina or lips, but works great for the upper portion. I just carefully shave the rest. less
