My period is almost non-existant thanks to my birth control pills. Most days it just shows up as a pink tinge in my vaginal fluids, so we'll have sex then. On the days when there is a little bit of blood I'll put a tampon in and we'll just stick with external stimulation. I have noticed that my boyfriend doesn't give me oral while I have my period though, whether I have a tampon in or it's too light to need one. So I guess it does slightly bother him, but it's not a big deal and not enough to stop us from sexual activity.

My Man couldn't care less. He loves getting laid, and sometimes if we don't get to me soon enough when my period starts, the cramps get very bad. Also, like many women, I get even more horny when I'm OTR, so we have sex pretty regularly during my period.
Everything washes off. You can lay down dark towels and a dark sheet or a Throe to keep the bed clean. A bath before sex works well, and orgasm helps the cramps.

I'm answering for my man. He could not care less. He is not squeamish about anything like that, and as P'Gell mentioned, it can all be washed up! We don't always have sex when I'm on my period simply because sometimes I feel sickish, and my vulva will be somewhat painful and/or swollen feeling. But when I'm in the mood he's all ready to go!

My guy cares less about it than I did at first. I felt like the combo of blood and sex would gross him out, but he honestly didn't care. The only time he had an issue was on a really heavy day, when we switched positions and realized that our naughty bits looked like a murder scene! Even then, it turned out he was just concerned that we would destroy the sheets (I guess moms don't teach their sons how to wash blood out of fabric). He is opposed to giving me oral during my period, however.
After that experience, period sex just hasn't bothered me the same way. I'd still prefer not to be bleeding because it requires less of a clean-up.

I think everyone should at least try it once. The GF is the one that is turned off by it now, but is slowly coming around to liking it more and more. That time of the month everything is so sensitive that its the best time to have it for a women. This fact is why the GF was so iffy about it, the need to have a little lube helps too I have found. All of my past GF's had been the same way till they got over issues of doing it, but They all love it now...!
