Unable to lift arms above waist

Contributor: kitsuneyouko5 kitsuneyouko5
Okay I'm asking this for another person...a lady recently had an accident and now can't lift her arms above her waist area. She had gotten a couple items like the door jam cuffs and wasn't even able to use them before they got to her due to the accident. Is there anything similar that she could still use? She's really bummed about it...

Is she sure she should be using anything at all at this point, if her arms/shoulders were injured so badly?

I think to make any sort of suggestion I'd need a lot more information. Is this a permanant condition or is she just waiting for it to heal? Is it that she can't lift her arms at all or that it is painful for her to lift them? Is it painful if someone else lifts her arms while she is not actively engaging them? What kind of accident was it? Is her range of motion normal or is the joint 'stuck'?

This seems like something she should work with a physical or occupational therapist for. Obviously it must be affecting her life in ways other than just her sex life so I would suggest she see a specialist.

the basic way it was described to me is that putting them level with her shoulders is painful. its the shoulders i believe that are affected the worst. It's going to eventually be better but its going to take a couple years...shes one of my AHN teams hostesses. I told her about edens already n im trying to help her out seeing if i can find the answer. The thought we had is if we could find something similar that she could use it'd make her feel better about the whole situation.

Something like, this or this, as well as this should work. But she needs to use extreme caution not to push herself too hard or harm herself for the sake of a fun romp. Sex after an injury can be really tricky, make sure she's with someone who knows her situation, limitations and that they have a safe word.
