Hidden Penis

Contributor: rom323 rom323
How many of you have or know of someone who has a Hidden Penis.
This is basically where the penis retracts inside the body where no part or just a small part of the head is visible, when flacid.

I have this condition, and my wife and I are looking into corrective surgery but not sure if anyone is aware of this condition.

Was it an issue sexually? or a turnoff?

My equipment works just fine. she wants it to hang like a normal penis and mine hides.

My husband's penis gets like this, where it's sometimes "just the head" when flaccid. It works perfectly when erect and it doesn't bother me. I think it's cute and I like to play with it, lol!

I personally would never consider having someone get surgery for something like this.

Personally, I would never ask someone to have a surgery for that. If it works fine, who cares how it looks when it's flaccid? Seems purely cosmetic, and that's an area where I wouldn't go poking about just for cosmetic reasons.

This never bothered me with my partner who had this and I never really thought much of it because it didn't bother him and I'm too laid back to care about these things lol

Neither of my two partners in my life has/had this. If either one did, I wouldn't push surgery. As long as it works properly when erect it's no big deal. Heck, flaccid penises that hang down "normally" are not that attractive anyway, imo

I hope you never call it "cute" to his face! That can be a huge kick in the ego for a guy.

As long as it works and everyone is happy, why mess with it? More harm could come out of it than good.

i have never heard of this before... but i'm not sure surgery would be the answer, especially if it works perfectly fine. why fix something that isn't broken!

Of course I do! I call it cute all the time. I talk to it and make funny noises while pinching it. It seriously is unlimited enjoyment for me. (I also make bomber noises and the like when I pour honey or mix cookie dough, etc.). He doesn't mind, but it does make him giggle. :3
But! He's also the least "guy-like" of any man I've ever met... which is why we are still together. None of that ego crap with him.

Never heard of it or seen it. If it's not a problem, then don't take the chance in harming it.

I agree with everyone else. I've been with guys whose penises retracted a lot when not erect, and I never had a problem with it. If it doesn't affect the quality of sex itself and is only a cosmetic issue, I feel like the risks are not worth it. And I don't in any way intend to be insulting to your wife, but the way you word it makes it sound as though she's the one pressuring you to do this. She wants it to hang like a "normal" penis when flaccid? There's nothing "abnormal" about being a grower. I think she and you both need to accept your body the way it is. If she felt that her vaginal lips were too long and she was self-conscious about it, but it didn't interfere with the quality of your sex life, would you push her to have a portion of her labia surgically trimmed off? I think you and her need to consider the risks. What if after the surgery, your penis hangs the way she wants it to, but it causes erectile dysfunction or has some other adverse affect?

I've never heard or seen that before.
But it honestly wouldn't bother me.

And I'd rather a partner didn't have any kind of surgery, if it works, why risk surgery that may bugger things up? Ya just never know when it comes to surgery. I'd much rather have him just the way he is.

I've heard of this. My friend's lover has this and she and he are perfectly content with their sex life.

I think this is one of those cases that plastic surgery isn't necessary. I'm not saying you shouldn't, but after studying penis cosmetic surgeries for a bit, I found that they can be more detrimental than good; for example, a common side effect is damage of the erectile tissue- you won't be able to get hard and have sex again. Honestly, if it works, it may be best to just deal with it instead of trying to make it look pretty. Just my opinion though.

My lover has a very small looking penis its very tiny and doesn't go past his balls, I think its very cute, and I enjoy playing with it. I would never even think of changing it for aesthetic reasons. Its totally fine when erect and decently large, I see no problems with it

I agree; if it's no problem, surgery seems purely cosmetic.

I know of a couple men who do. I think as long as it works fine otherwise, I would never consider surgery as an option! A lot of men don't have a very large looking penis when it's soft. I don't understand why it would matter to a partner either, it doesn't do any good sexually when it's soft any way.

It just means you are a grower not a shower. I am going to agree with everyone else. Surgery is the last thing you need to do. It is completely normal have this.

I have never heard of this before. Every surgery has a risk for complications, so I think that surgery should be a last resort for you. Especially if everything is functioning fine.

I was just going to say what Louise just said.

With most penile surgeries, there is a risk of erectile and performance dysfunction.

It really depends on what you want, and how badly you want it. I doubt insurance covers this (they don't cover vaginal cosmetic surgery, but they usually cover more stuff for men than for women, so who knows?) But, I would talk to at least two or three urological surgeons, about the percentage of side effects, the risk of erectile or performance dysfunction and also always find out how many of this surgery each doctor had done. The more he has done, the chances are the better he is at it. Of course, if he tells you there are "No risks" with the surgery, I'd run, not walk from his office.

You want to talk to someone who is knowledgeable and honest and also experienced. Then, make your decision.
