Improvised Condoms?

I know of not one, not two, not even three, but of FOUR individuals that have used sandwich bags and rubber bands as improvised condoms. Some of them even lost their virginity this way because they were feeling caught up in the moment and desperate to have sex. Does everyone agree that this is a terrible idea, or do you sympathize and say that some circumstances merit improvised birth control? Have you ever improvised your own, or gone a risky route in having sex while preventing pregnancy?

I have not done either thing you mentioned (improvising condoms or having unprotected sex while not on birth control, or with a new partner). I recommend doing neither. Have some self-control, stupid teenagers!

I feel like that wouldn't feel good at all with the seams on sandwich bags and I'm pretty sure it's not all that safe at protecting from STDs.

this is a horrible idea! I've heard stories about girls who go to the er with condoms or improvised condoms that ended up inside them! Bad idea!

On the other hand, ten years from now those individuals will have a good laugh at how stupid they were and in what silly way they lost their virginity...

Nope, never improvised. There are other ways to enjoy yourselves if you can't go to the clinic or drugstore right then.

lol! I have a hard time imagining the actual mechanics of these stories which my friends shared. I hope hope hope it was one of the folding sandwich bags without the Ziplock sealed ones because as far as sandwich bags go, I think those would provide more comfort.
