If ever actually and how did your parents (mother and/or father) go about explaining things to you?
As always thanks in advance to the community
My mom is a nurse so I got the "all the good parts are on the outside" talk. And while SOME of the good parts are on the outside not all of them are. I got the talk about condoms during my health class in middle school from a teacher who refused to listen to school policy on the matter and talk about them anyways.
I never got a talk from my mom. I learned all the stuff I know from the internet, dirty magazines, and sex ed at school. My mom would only say, "it's totally natural but when the time comes ask me and we'll get you on birth control." Thank goodness she was open about that because when I had a boyfriend and we were thinking about having sex I went to her first. I was shy and embarrassed to ask but I knew it was really important. She didn't judge me and just took me down to the family planning place. Thank you mom!
Never and I missed sex ed. I just was told to not have sex before I moved out or she'd beat me and if I got pregnant, she'd kick me out. She was a peach.
