Public health will arrange for tubal ligations starting at the age of 21 - you don't have to already had children and they won't insinuate that you're being an impulsive harpy for wanting it done.

Never underestimate the power of hormonal birth control on preventing cramps, lessening the flow, keeping PMS quiet, and lessening the duration of periods.

I repeat the "wear sunscreen" advice, especially when driving.

great advice. I didn't think about the driving part. I went on BC when I was 16 and haven't looked back. Made my life so much easier

Make time to do your regular breast checks at LEAST once per month!!

Extreme periods are not normal--keep going to doctors until one will help diagnose your issue. NOT doing this will cost you your future children.

Periodic, on-going depression is not normal, please get treated and take the medication.

Take excellent care of your teeth--you will regret it if you start losing them due to improper care, un-fillable cavities and gum infection.

Eat right, exercise, and don't let any guy tell you that you're abnormal if you don't orgasm vaginally.

Learn about you.

Learn about your body.

Learn what makes you happy both in day to day life and sexually.

Learning to accept who you are comes through hard work and time. So start working on it early.

Never stop discovering who you are and always remember, you might be beautiful to someone by the way you look, but it is better that you think you are beautiful from the inside out.

Above all else, wrinkles mean you have lived your life don't be afraid of them.

Also, magazines photoshop even beautiful and skinny models. What you see isn't real. Don't compare yourself and don't let anyone else do it to you.

I am a younger woman, and I have advice for my peers: CONDOMS CONDOMS CONDOMS CONDOMS CONDOMS. One time without one could lead to an incurable STD that will change your life forever!
Luckily the STI I got from being stupid was just chlamydia, but it really shook me up and made me realize what an idiot I'd been.

Never EVER believe that you'll never find the love of your life if you haven't by age 21 (like I did). True love doesn't come to us when we're dewy-eyed teenagers - true love waits for us to be ready for it. It waits until we are wise enough to appreciate it, caring enough to honor it, and whole enough to build the kind of relationship in which it can dwell.

Despite what cultural depictions would have you believe, it's just as normal for a girl to masturbate as it is for a guy. Same for viewing or reading items of a pornographic nature. So if you want to do these things and it makes you feel good, then by all means go ahead.

If you need lube at a young age, that doesn't mean anything's wrong with you.

Carry condoms in your purse. Leaving it to the chap 100% of the time, especially if it's not the same chap, doesn't always work out so well.

Don't feel bad if you can't have an internal orgasm (or have great difficulty doing so). It's the same for most women. On that note, guys who tell you something's wrong with you if their cocks alone can't get the job done aren't worth the trouble. Real men know about fingers and tongues.

I'm having a baby in August and I'm afraid-not so much of weight gain as of having my vagina 'ruined'. Most of the people I've talked to say it "goes back" after a few months, but I have heard the occasional horror story about incontinence and loss of sensation. Can you please elaborate on how having a baby changes your body? Thanks!

Don't choose the ASSHOLE with a perfect body now over the guy that's not bad looking but willing to put his all into your relationship. You will regret it.

determine if you want to have kids. if you do, don't put your family on hold for a career. have your kids in your mid 20s, raise them yourself (no daycare) till they are school age THEN start your career. you will be healthier, your kids will be healthier and you will never regret that time with your children.

too many women are putting career ahead of motherhood. they end up spending 10s of thousands on fertility treatments in their 30s. they have unhealthy kids who are dropped off at daycare every day by 7:30. and the mother feels guilt about it all the time. not too mention losing baby weight is much harder in late 30s while working than late 20s while not working.

oh yeah, never take your health for granted. build it up in some way every day.
