are you sure you know your bra size?

I was fitted, am a 34D and anytime I try to buy a 34D in a Victoria Secret bra ( different styles), they are ALWAYS TOO SMALL. I wear a 34D in EVERY OTHER brand except VS. Too bad, I love their designs, but too pricy to buy and be falling out of.

Lane Bryant has an extraordinary inventory of DDD cup bras.

If your cup size is D or larger your bra band should have at least 3 hooks. This makes a HUGE difference in fit and support.

I definitely know my bra size now because for the last two weeks or so I've been desperately trying to shop for a bra that fit me. Bras in my country are really ugly in my size, and I'm really picky about bras. They not only have to be comfortable, they also have to support me well and be CUTE. I shall never wear a bra that my grandmother would have been proud to own!

I'm a 42A, but bra manufacturers don't seem to think it's worthwhile to make bras in my size...

Yupp, I've been fitted pretty recently at VS, I'm either a 36B or a 34C (they're sister sizes, basically meaning fit similarly) I prefer the 36B which is a little small on me but it doesn't cover my ENTIRE boob and makes it easier for me to show the amount of cleavage I want.

I have been fitted numerous times and I was always a 36C. However, I've lost 25 lbs and have yet to be measured. I know I'm much smaller, my bras are way too big on me now. It makes me pretty upset.

i heard some probably made-up statistic the other day, that something like 90% of women are wearing the wrong bra size. take that with a grain of salt.

still, i was measured at victoria's ... more
I can't say that I am 100% sure.... I should find out...

I have the same issue. Stores like Victorias Secret and La Senza do not have my size, also, they dont fit people properly. If they dont have your size, they just modify it so they can sell to you. Thats not how bras work. Sister sizes just mean the wrong size.

Shop at proper bra stores, not VS. They are BS. Haha, sorry

I don't know mine actually. I just know my boobs are tiny. I've been thinking they're an A cup.. but who knows.

I wore the wrong size for awhile. After having pain in my breasts, I figured I should look up online how to really get sized. That was a great decision. I now wear the right size and I feel so much better!

I'm not really sure since I've never been professionally measured, but I think I'm a 34B. I don't really care anyway since I rarely wear bras.

Yep! I'm a pretty small gal too, so I always thought I was a b -- I got measured as a 30C.

I don't get fitted regularly, but I do take my own measurements often as my weight fluctuates. I'm a DD/E cup.

I've read through the posts and a TON of you are talking about being fitted at VS and the "add four inches" method of measuring.

Well, ladies, whether you want to hear it or not I'm here to tell you that you're mistaken (and VS probably is too!)

Seriously, check out link
I was wearing a 34B (fitted at VS, etc. etc.) and it turns out I'm actually a 30E. I bought some new bras and finally, bras that really fit. they fully cover all of my breast tissue out to the sides and they never ride up in the back. I didn't even know what good-fitting bras were supposed to feel like.

I didn't believe my size at first (the subreddit has some great links on the sidebar for measuring yourself) but it's amazing what a good bra will do. I have more confidence, less back pain, and I no longer have to readjust my bra during the day.
