Can we get a little maturity?

I was doing some honest-to-goodness research on g-spot and g-spot hitting positions today. I came across something called "Oprah's All Stars," and they were supposedly discussing g-spot stimulation. Never heard of Oprah's All Stars, so I watched the pertinent clip. I swear it could be summed up by saying, "Giggle giggle SEX giggle giggle." And these people are supposed to be educating people? Wowsers.

I think popular talk of sex and sexuality has to be a little dumbed-down to be grasped by the general population. Kind of how most newspapers require editors to write at a 6th grade reading comprehension level. I'm guessing Oprah's demographics are about the same.

I was really never here nor there on her. She just kind of existed. Didn't watch her, didn't care to. I was just shocked at this behavior of people that are supposedly out to help and educate others. It was seriously like they were trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator, know what I mean?

"Show us what your wife looks like when she has an orgasm." SERIOUSLY???

That doesn't surprise me. If there are men in the audience and you're talking about female health that happens sometimes.
Or often people who aren't comfortable talking about sexual health will cover their uncomfortable feelings with laughter.

I agree though.

If you're trying to look on the bright side, at least they're acknowledging out loud that women have orgasms, and that women's partners should pay attention and help them have them?

But, uh, yeah, I hope to be speaking to a more mature audience than that.

I guess you're right. But there was definitely more sex jokes and purposefully making situations uncomfortable than there was information. The whole of the information could be summed up by saying, "There's a g-spot." At least they said it exists, I guess.
