When I was/am sexually active with men (rare), I like to use barrier methods. I haven't had good experiences with hormonal birth control methods so I'd rather use a condom or something similar because I don't have to live with the hormonal changes.

The IUD was the best option for me because hormones gave me mood swings like nobody's business. Condoms are good too.

Both of them raged my hormones, so I stopped taking everything all together to let my body detox. Now, I talked to my Dr about getting Implanon. My appointment isn't until next month though.

I use condoms right now due to problems with using other methods. I've tried Depo, Implanon, and a few different pills.
