Crying during sex?

Sometimes, most certainly not all the time, I get teary eyed or even cry a bit after an orgasm. Almost always a G-spot orgasm. Something about it is so intense and so overwhelming that I get sort of emotional. I can't even describe the feeling. It isn't that I'm sad or even that I'm so joyous that I'm crying. Its just like a burst of energy and emotion.

When it first happened, I immediately went to do research on the subject. Apparently, its quite normal. That said, its not something I usually talk about with friends.

In an article I read recently, a woman presented several questions concerning the subject and now I'm curious what you think. Have you ever cried after or during sex? How did your partner handle it? less

I have sobbed during extremely powerful orgasms, especially if it was a while since I had had one. My Man takes it in stride and will usually just carry on, as he knows that's what I do.

I have also cried at times when I can't come. It's so frustrating, that I need some kind of release, and crying is better than not doing anything. My Man usually holds me and then says, "You're OK. We'll try again later."

We also sometimes engage in Ravishment Play. I refuse to call them "rape" fantasies because no woman wants to be raped. Ravishment is the outward manifestation of a fantasy where someone wants to feel like they aren't in control, but in reality are in complete control. I wish more people would use the word "Ravishment Play" rather than "rape" because Ravishment is different than rape and rape brings up SO many bad images, memories and feelings for so many. My husband would NEVER rape me, but we do play with Ravishment. It works for us, but I have never cried from it. Mainly, I think because I've worked through any issues about any past traumas. less

I only cry during sex when it is an intense closer to God type of orgasm. Tears of joy! During that kind of sex, I feel as if every piece and fiber of my body is affected. Maybe from the release of tension in my body or simply because of the explosive reaction to the raw pleasure I have experienced. less
