I seem to get them about 3 times a year, which seems excessive. Is there a certain vitamin that can help? Or do I need to see a doctor. I always take something like vagisil which gets rid of it but they always come back.
How often do you get yeast infections?

Probiotics help, they regulate all the hormones and chemicals in that whole area. Just eating good yogurt regularly can help. But you can buy bottles of probiotics. I have been getting them more frequently of late but I think that my partner was reinfecting me so to speak. Plus I get yeast infections after intercourse with certain condoms.

Yeast infections can be caused by so many things though, even just a night of excessive drinking, too much sugar in your diet, even just stress levels can cause yeast infections. Also semen, sometimes yeast infections are caused due to our bodies reacting to new partners, or a change in our partners chemistry. Reactions to chemicals in toys or lubes or condoms. Douching can increase likelyhood of a yeast infection. It's really random, I doubt you need to see a doctor, maybe just keep track of what has changed around the times when you do get them and you may figure it out.

I used to get them often when I was on the pill. Now that I am off I seem to only get them if i have to go on antibiotics for something.
If youre like me and detest yogurt, you can also take acidophilus capsules.

Also when you get one be sure not to have unprotected sex because you could pass it onto your partner and he can at that point be an unknowing carrier.
Oh and last time I had one I tried the new Canes-Oral and it cleared it up in a jiffy with no annoying creams.

I've only gotten one once. Thank goodness. That was awful. It was due to a lube I used though.

I've only ever gotten one, thankfully. But I know that my one sister gets them when she's on antibiotics and not eating enough yogurt. Yogurt has natural components to it that help fight them off. I will be honest when saying I'm not sure what it is in yogurt that helps.

I used to get yeast infections mostly after taking antibiotics. I found that eating yogurt seems to balance my system with antibiotics,so now I eat yogurt almost daily, regardless.

Never had one yet. Had a UTI once though. That was awful as hell.

I've never had one. I honestly don't know a whole lot about them. From what you guys have posted though I'm going to attribute it to the probiotics I take and the tons of yogurt I eat.

I've never had one. I have read articles on how to prevent myself from getting them, so I try to eat a lot of yogurt, and I wear cotton underwear, especially when I know I'm going to get too warm. I also make sure I know exactly what is going in my body down there.
