If you're talking about the icky rashy chafing issue on inner thighs, I actually buy a product made by monistat for this. It's anti-chafe gel or something like that and I wear it if I'm going to be wearing a skirt to work so I don't tear up the insides of my thighs. It works absolute wonders and one application lasts me 8-10 hours.

It really is a great little product. My ex-husband even used to use it on his boy parts that were affected by all the walking we'd do on humid beach vacations. I've never had any irritation at all from it and I'm ridiculously sensitive.

I live a few hours south of you, and other than wearing underwear that breathes well, and mesh shorts just about every day, I dusted my thighs and bikini line with the touch of honey body dust. Seemed to work ok.

If I know it's gonna be uber nasty day in particular, sometimes I'll put deodorant on my inner upper thighs and bikini line.

Yes I use this too! That stuff is awesome. I keep some in my gym bag too becuase it's great when using the exercise bike. Mike even uses it becuase he finds his gym shirts chafe his nipples when he runs.

Yep I do this too with the Shunga honey dust The kama sutra stuff works well too, but the only one I have is chocolate which drips brown if you sweat too much!

Eek! That's got to look...interesting I'm not even sure which I'd rather do - explain that I have a kama sutra product dripping down my thighs or just allow people to think what they will! LOL

Hahah, well luckily I never used that on my thighs since I had already seen what it did on my arms. But, yea it was bad enough on my arms...looked like I hadn't showered in months!

It's kind of funny you say that as Maine usually doesn't get super duper warm but today it was and I had to be outside for half of the day. When I got home I had a heat rash all over my stomach. Very unappealing.
I can't say I really have to worry about keeping myself dry. Hope someone has some good advice for you!

Vagisil Deodorant Powder is MUCH finer than regular powders and doesn't clump like cornstarch. I have major issues being plus-size and living in FL, and this is actually the best stuff I've found. I also wear cotton bikini briefs (which help when you have a overlapping belly) and don't wear skirts unless it's with a pair of bike shorts.

I know, most cringe when they hear 'Vagisil', but it really is worth getting.

You can rub your deodorant/antiperspira nt stick on your thighs and under your boobs. If you have issues with perfumes, Dove makes an unscented stick. Also, baby powder and butt paste to treat the chafing. Like, the diaper rash cream that's called butt paste.

It never occurred to me to do under my boobs too. I drive around most of the day in a truck with no ac and it gets really hot out in traffic, I have to change my bra when I get home every day cuz it's soaked most of the time, lol

I'm getting hoardy with my honey dusts and hate using it just to soak up sweat.

I've tried Gold Bond powder, the unmedicated, and it works okay but ugh, I hate the way it smells.

I've totally got the feminine products on my list for next trip to the store, though.

And deodorant. That's genius and makes TOTAL sense!

I've only done the honey dust a few times, and that was when I was going out. I'm not about to start using it to stay fresh and clean for a bunch of counterman and grubby mechanics while I deliver car parts, lol

I don't have a problem with this thankfully. But, I did get a sample of some new chaffing product in the mail. When I find it, I'll let you know the name.

The cucumber melon baby powder by Johnsons and Johnsons works excellent for me. I frequently have rash issues on my girly parts due to large labia and being overweight, combined with walking every day. I'm definitely keeping an eye out on THIS thread!

I don't sweat much, since I get cold very easily. I do have the occassional issue with pimples on my butt, especially in warm weather, so I wash it every day with an acne facial wash and don't wear pants when I'm at home. It helps quite a bit!

I try to stay indoors and change my undies as often as needed. It's recommended you wear cotton crotch undies too. I love my VS classic cotton bikini's and briefs.

I love VS cotton panties too, they're really light weight and I stay dry well in them. My favorite are the cheekies, I find that not having an elastic band like a bikini does helps me to stay cool in the summer time, sometimes bikinis or briefs in the summer make me break out at the elastic.

Yanno, that's a pretty good idea, too.

You guys rock for all the suggestions!

I don't know. I have Hot Flashes on top of everything else. I actually bought some baby powder the other day, because I am sick of sweating my ass off.

I also put "Clinical Strength" antiperspirant under my arms AND on the backs of my thighs and behind my knees. I never sweat like this, unless I was pregnant, before peri-menopause.

The Boob Sweat? I have no idea what to do about it, I'm using Baby Powder for now.

OK, I'm definitely taking notes on this thread. I don't get rashes, but I do get sweaty and I have issues like blackheads on my inner thighs thanks to my thighs rubbing together. Ugh. It's hard out here for a fat chick. Sorry, couldn't resist. heh

I recommend staying inside. Be a hermit in the summer. In GA, it's the safest bet.

Buuuuut have you tried foundation primer? It's meant to wick away oil, sweat and moisture on the face when you wear makeup and I've used it down below on my thighs and booty when I was walking around Atlanta, and I was surprised that it worked. It leaves the skin kinda matte and velvety and a little goes a long way. Hope you find something that works

Holy crap. I can't afford to use my primer on my thighs. They're like 9 MILLION times larger than my face and the bottle is wee and pricey! Lol.

But...

That does remind me of something. I wonder if those "stay dry" foot sprays would work...

Runners and hikers use something called BodyGlide link - it actually resembles deodorant (not anti-perspirant). I just did a 16 mile hike and used it anyplace where there could be rubbing - it worked like a charm.

Underarmor sports bra, underarmor womens briefs. Wear them snug. Before putting them on put some baby powder on. You can also use deoderant but be carefull some will iritate your vagina or nipples and it wont feel so good.

I dont know how bad you specificly are but I have heard of puting a light pad in your undewear for the girls who sweat alot in that area.

I've heard of this. My friend uses it for long commutes in Chicago on his bike and also for his marathons.
