But...

That does remind me of something. I wonder if those "stay dry" foot sprays would work...
I've actually read that the monistat anti chafing gel is pretty much the same stuff as MAC's primer.

I had originally heard about it on a makeup message board. The ladies were saying that it works just as well and it's a hell of a lot cheaper.

I thought I had chafing problems under my breasts until I found a website that clearly listed my real symptoms....red itchy skin leading to a brown scaling. I had been told I was dirty had yeast infections and all sorts of other crap. In reality I had a bacterial/fungal infection rather than creeping crud. My family has major issues with fungal infections of the skin from Versicolor infections to Vitiligo so it's not a big surprise to my Dr.
I used Nizoral soap and took extra care to keep the natural oils in my skin and voila no more dark splotches between my thighs or under my breasts...I even had some under my arms! All gone.
Now if I notice redness I use some mild soap and a light moisturizing oil and it clears right up.

Ile just add thats what we used in iraq. I used it for a few years stright and it lost its affect.

Ime guessing that my boddy just got use to it when you wear it almost everyday all year. And ime not joking when I say everyday all year.

I canot tell you how well it worked for me when it did work. There were times were you go 3 days without stopping to eat or undress or anything. So imigane how much sweat builds up in that desert sun. Put a bunch of that stuff on before you go out, and it did good.

The more the better

they have a bunch of different kinds, I used the "Anti-Chafe with SPF 25 balm"

That's my go-to powder as well, and I agree, it is awesome. And talc-free! Definitely better than Shower to Shower body powder.

Any tips or secrets you care to share for keeping yourself dry down below? ... more
I like to use powder, but sometimes will use antiperspirant (if you do use deodorant, be sure to use to one with antiperspirant in it!) You can even get the ones in a spray can for hard to reach areas.
If you do have rashes or sores though, try asking your Dr if you can get a script for magic butt cream. Works great!!

Some of us guys have this problem too.

I worked in Texas just outside of Houston. I grew up in Colorado... what is humidity. Well I could totally soak my shirt and pants just standing in the shade down there. I tried every thing I could find even woman's products. Nothing really worked for me. In the end I switched to boxer briefs, that was the best I got.

That's what my guy has had to do, too. Boxer briefs and gold bond powder and he still has issues.

I truly think I'm going to get some of that sport stuff that was mentioned for the both of us.

I appreciate all of the recommendations for anti-chafing. For years I have been reactive with chafing, rather than proactive. I used to chafe due to being so overweight -- so shorts & skirts were definitely a no-no. I'm still overweight (just 136 lbs. lighter now, haha), and now my chafing seems to sorta/kinda come from some loose skin on my inner thighs -- specifically, on my right thigh. I had a bit of chafing yesterday at the beach, and I decided that once and for all I'm going to figure out how to PREVENT it.

So with that said, on my next shopping trip I am picking up one each of all of the recommendations I saw here!

Hey! I know this thread was 4 months ago, but I have a suggestion for next year! My husband swears by this stuff and they make it for woman as well!Anti Monkey Butt Powderlink link

I know it sounds stupid, and I originally bought it a gag gift.....but he LOVES it!! He also hiked a 14,000 foot mountain using it.

I am a natural 36G and during the summer my boob sweat will get so bad that I will get a yeast infection rash under and between my breasts. I always just dealt with the grossness and pain every summer by showering and drying the area at every chance. Until I was at my Mom's taking a shower when she walked in on me drying off. (Some people have no idea what personal space is.) When She noticed my unsightly rash and told me to start using my deodorant/antiperspira nt to take care of what was obviously a yeast infection.

The Monistat lady with her yeast infection meds on TV never once mentioned that you could get a yeast infection under over sized boobs! Thanks for nothing lady on your weird purple couches!

Now I swipe under my boobs as part of my daily regime every morning and haven't had an outbreak since. But I do have to recommend that you ONLY use the stick style deodorant because the gel style really burns on abraded skin! Ouch!

I have also used the Bad-Aid Friction Block Stick to alleviate any possible chafing from new shoes and along my thong line for when I run at the gym to stave off chafing from my thong.

They sell that stuff everywhere out here I just thought it was too funny sounding to be caught dead holding a bottle to actually read it to find out what it could be for. I just figured it was a pet product of some kind. lol!

I'll have to get some for my hubby, he is constantly getting chaffed on his inner thighs from his work pants, even with wearing boxer briefs.

Thanks!

No Problem! My husband is on his feet all day, so it works wonders for his swamp ass and thigh chaffing. He uses it when we go rock climbing, bike riding (well you get the point). My mom originally bought it for him as a gag gift...lol. We seriously had it under our bathroom sink for a couple years before he pulled it out one day and was gonna try it (after I yelled at him to stop using our sons baby powder all up...lol). They have one for women as well, but Ive never tried it myself. Although I was very tempted when I was pregnant. Hope it works for you and your husband!!

I have never used it but it's used to stop the sweating between thighs, butt and breasts. Ya can also get a cream for the face which I'd like to try out - hate sweat beads on my face.
