I've noticed that my nipples are always changing colors throughout the month, and I'm wondering if this happens to anyone else and if there is any correlation between this and birth control. Please vote below and share your thoughts!

Mine have never changed color through out the month even when I was on Birth Control. I am currently on nothing and my nipples stay the same color

I don't want to freak you out, but that's not normal. Nipples typically change colors for two reasons: pregnancy (they get darker), or breast cancer. If nothing else, I would call a physician or drug store pharmacist and ask them their opinion on whether or not you should see a doctor.

You know, I do know that your pigments can change color each month due to hormones but if you notice significant color change perhaps snapping a picture several times a month might be a good idea. It would give your gynecologist a sort of baseline and a really good idea what you are talking about if something IS wrong. It never hurts to be careful, ya know?
Either way if it's perfectly natural you'll have a baseline for yourself to be able to decide if something significant has changed.

it has not happened to me but I am tempted to think it's possible the hormones from the pill could make it happen. I mean, it is a symptom during pregnancy, when your hormones are going crazy.

I do second mentioning it to your doctor though. It's pretty unusual.

Yeah you really might want to see a doctor, it may be normal for you but it can be an indicator of health problems. Please get a check-up!

Mine seem to be more brown at certain times and light pink at others. Not really sure what causes it, but even my partners have noticed.

I have the Mirena IUD and haven't noticed any change in my nipple coloring.
