I just did a search for educators that brought up this post I'm currently in graduate school getting my master's of education in human sexuality, as well as a master's of social work. From what I understand, though, becoming an educator is primarily about grabbing the bull by the horns and just getting out there to share your knowledge. I've recently started teaching workshops for fellow students and members of the local community, to get some experience under my belt. I am also working as the education coordinator for a local toy store that holds classes.

Good post. I've always been curious about this too. I'm thinking about getting into the sexual education field. I started becoming curious about it when I started seeing a sexual heath therapist. I'm gonna follow this post. I'm so curious about it.

I'm not employed yet but I run an on-campus peer sexual health group. Its also very helpful to find a couple of mentors in the field. I know that I've met a bunch of great and approachable people, (Dr. Charlie Glickman for example) who are more than happy to speak to people looking to do something like this. There are also a wealth of sex educators blogging!
