I know, I feel awful for the horses. I asked my GYN if they had any estrogen that wasn't made this way, and he offered me the BC pill, which I can't take (because then I suffer, from migraines, depression, weight gain and loss of libido) so until they make something prescription that is better, I have to use this.

Gunsmoke, I did try a bioidentical progesterone (thinking I was estrogen dominant at one point) made from phyto-hormones from plants and it didn't work for me. I think we all respond a little differently. I'm glad it works for your wife, though.

Whatever it takes...

I hear that's the rage now - BC pills for menopause. My sister and a close friend are on BC pills now for that. I don't have a uterus, so my gyn prescribed Vivelle Dot estradiol patches, which I LOVE. They took me from a killer hot flash about every hour and soaking the sheets every night to ... one small hot flash when I first wake up.

Lots of really interesting information.

BTW, I have several friends who have PMU rescue horses. The mares have to be pregnant for their urine to be usable, so they keep producing baby horses that no one really wants. Some people rescue the babies and train them to make them desirable. No one (or rather very, very few people) wants an untrained horse.

That's vaginal! I took a sex psychology class last year at my university and learned all sorts of things. If you have an orgasm while lactating milk will squirt out of your titties because the same hormone is released during orgasm that activates the release of milk!
