I have found a couple lubes leave my partner and I smelling a little odd. We aren't dirty, most of the time we have just showered.

some lubes do smell. some come off and leave you feeling natural. It just depends on the company. I like JO lube, and have had great luck with their different lubes.

Oddly enough JO's anal lube is one that does this the most.

I've noticed this with a few different lubes & find it strange because I smell odd after applying them, but before, neither the lube, nor I had that smell! Off the top of my head, Jo's silicone anal is one, Sliquid Sassy Booty & Sliquid Silk are two others. All of them give me a different smell. And I have just showered, as well and it made no difference. For the Jo anal, it gives me a graphite like smell & for the Sliquid Sassy, it gives me a musty smell that I cannot adequately describe.

I think most lubes leave a slight smell. I think Satin by Sliquid is the only lube I have found that leaves almost no smell at all. Even Sliquid's other products that I have tried, and the JO anal lube as well, leave a lingering smell!
