Yes! I love my Lunette as well! Could never go back to pads or tampons.

i use the moon cup.

mooncup.co.uk

it's way better for me. reuseable for up to ten years, sterilizable, holds alot of bloody gook, and doesn't leak like a siv like tampons, just one drop at a time.

also, no tampon waste to throw away, no dry vagina, no chemicals in your hoo ha, AND if you're careful, you can have sex with it in. if your man isn't huge. and only in certain positions.

i agree! but believe it or not, they're not as well known as you might think. i'd never even heard of diva cups or reusable cloth pads until about 5 years ago.

I've heard about those! I've heard they're not hard to use and they're better for the environment than throwing away all those tampons you would otherwise use.

I've tried tampons - I just find them horribly uncomfortable, plus there's very few 'heavy flow' tampons that actually work. (With that being said, I have used them for 'diagnostics' before - trying to figure out where the blood was coming from and why it was there.)
I get overnight-type pads, or pads that are actually designed for bladder weakness, but I still have to change them constantly.
(Never tried a DivaCup or anything like that...I don't think you can even get them here.)

My fiancee prefers tampons, but she's looking at switching to a Diva Cup.

Both! Tampons when the flow is heavier, pads at night time/when the flow is lighter. I used a Diva Cup at one time, but it started leaking after awhile. I'm considering buying some reusable cloth pads...to be greener, you know

I prefer the moon cup when I have somewhere to wash it that is private. Otherwise I kinda hate both of them. Though my husband gets turned on when he sees me using tampons so I go more for those.

Pads. Tampons cause me to itch like crazy, hurt going in, and leave me hurting for several hours after taking them out. I only use them for swimming, and only then if my period happened to come while I was on vacation.

I used tampons when I first started, but in the past few years I just can't.

I don't know what changed, but they're no longer comfortable.

I'm curious about cloth pads, but having to change mine every three hours, I don't know if it'd be viable.

I have a very busy life so I usually use tampons, but I prefer pads for when I'm just frumping around the house. I only have a period once every four months to begin with.

Both, I like pads more though. Tampons give me UTI's

I voted tampons, but I only use them at night and at work. I don't like having an accidental "mess" to clean up or get out of my sheets. I always wear a pad too, though, for backup.

I've never been a fan of pads. I always feel they are too obvious. I gave them up when I started paying for my own supplies. I almost never used them for a few years until I got a sample in the mail and felt a little better about newer ones. But still not a fan. Tampons have been my choice for a long while--on lighter days I don't even feel like I'm on my period thanks to them. But I don't like the frequency of plastic applicators nowadays. So for environmental and economic reasons, I might try a silicone cup. It's hefty fee to pay initially, but it sounds very worth it. Neat to see so many using them now!
