I didn't know either and I'm usually pretty good with old cars.

Hey there, Tori! Ditto on old (and small) cars!

One of my favorites (I am sitting here thumbing through the book, trying to recall which I liked more than the others) was Walled Lake Girl - it had her as the voyeur, then the exhibitionist and ... left me wanting more story... wanting to know more about the two people and what happened next. Sometimes endings like that irk me, but sometimes they really work for me.

Oh, that's one of my favorites as well, Laurel.

Sometimes I need to read a story a couple of times to appreciate it. Especially erotica. I pick up nuances in a second reading that I might have missed in a first heated reading.

Anyone else read stories more than once?

One of the ones I (Michele) really liked was Replacements by Tenille Brown. It was an echo of a fantasy I had about a guy I lived next door to in college. Very hott!

The other that really worked for me was Room With a View by Saskia Walker, because that sounds like *exactly* the kind of thing my BFF and I would have done!

Ahh I'm late....hi everybody

But I read stories multiple times if I love it. I'll finish reading it then start right back over to to get the experience it gave me the first time.

Sometimes we re-read too, like if we had a hard time "getting" it the first time (which didn't happen with any of the stories in this book).

Indeed, I did. Finished one, in the middle of another.

Fabulous! Any favorite stories to share? Any scenarios you want to try?

Joy Park's "Sweet Thing" was... just.. ohmygod... yummy.

And the "Rock Wall", the scene with the pleated skirt, that'd be me. I'm a femme and I'd gladly rock a plaid skirt to be the femme in that story.

These are from "Sometimes She Lets Me"

Oh great! Yes, let's talk about Sometimes She Lets Me...

The butch/femme theme is what appeals to me. The contrast between characters, in particular. What was it about "Sweet Thing" that you liked so much?

I liked that one as well - I thought it set the tone of the book really well. It was a little poetic, which I normally don't like (there were a few others in the book written that way that I didn't love) but it was so short and so well done I really did enjoy it.

It was poetic and a little drawn out but I really appreciated the message, even if I did think it was flowery. Heh.

What did you like about that particular story? I thought it was an interesting choice for the title for the collection.
