but it died... and it's so rare to find a quality roleplayer... but those who are gifted... man... they are gifted..
I know! I actually met someone through that whole roleplay thing and actually met him in real life and dated him for 8 years. lol

I know two other couples who met in that same room and are STILL together.

Ok, I was not sure. Yeah, I did some of that, but I still had some experience with books, stories before doing any cyber, which was roleplayed too. I was told I was good.

Great story! I love hearing how people found their way to the genre, what authors and stories inspired them and how that interest grew.

Something like that. You had to sift through a LOT of crap, which I suppose is the price you pay for free stuff. These days I much prefer to take the lazy route and buy something I know will at least be readable.

Well, no not outright erotic... but for anybody who gets off on the concept of being outwitted, overpowered, tamed, ravished—like I do, it's just enough to set my imagination going wild.

Laurel, have you seen the version of Taming of the Shrew on Shakespeare Retold?
I watched it on Netflix streaming; I'm sure its available many places. I just rewatched it yesterday. Its a fantastic modern retelling: a bitter politician, a cross-dressing loud-mouth.. oh, its fantastic. Not to mention a VERY hot sex-fight.

There is also MacBeth, Midsummer's, and one other I've forgotten now. The whole four-part series is amazing.

Cybersex to me, is basically like "I'm stroking my cock thinking of your pussy"

Most of my roleplaying was like writing a story with somebody. You described scenery, setting, outfits and detail and it was mostly written in third person.

Anything in line with my favorite Shakespeare: Taming of the Shrew
I. LOVE. THAT. PLAY.

Ah dear old and naughty Shakespeare. What would the world be now if it weren't for him?

Shakespeare's plays have a lot of erotic subtext... it's there in the word play, you just have to know what to look for!

One of my first boyfriends I met was a roleplayer with me for years... it was so cute, one of my first loves.

Ok... we hit 150!

Now, while the 150th post was Mistress Kay, she's already won tonight, so we move on to post 151...and that's me and they don't let me give out gift cards to myself (probably a reasonable rule) so... post 152 - Kynky Kytty gets a $50 gift card!

Congrats!

Oh man, talk about it. I saw Midsummer's performed a few months ago by the Actors of the London Stage and.... talk about raunchy!!! There are definitely moments that can be played up, just as it was written. I think many of the laughs and gasps from the audience came from folks not realizing Shakespeare covered low-brow just as much as high-brow!

Oh it seemed like a fun play to watch.

Even if it starts with books, it's so much fun when we get to talk about anything and share experiences. It's like a night out with the girls.

I'm imagining fun drinks and possibly some dancing. As well as tiny umbrellas, because those are just too darn cute, lol
