That actually sounds like something I'd be really interested in.

I'd recommend it. I work in a hotel, so it was obviously a must-have. Most of the stories take place in the actual hotel rooms, but it also includes the employee area, the lobby bar, and the pool area.

I am now interested in reading Alison's Wonderland and Fairy Tale Lust. When I was in high school (oh so MAAAAANY years ago, heh), I read a beautiful book called 'Kissing the Witch' by Emma Donoghue. It is a collection of fairy tales, retold with lesbian themes--and very creatively so. It was not erotica, but it was a lovely primer for someone like me, who was only just coming to terms with sexuality. If you want a sweet, loving little lesbian collection to read in a day or so, try it out! (..or just contact me to borrow my copy! )

You can't go wrong with a collection from Alison Tyler! I picked up Alison's Wonderland, but I haven't had time to read it yet. Several of the authors in AW also have fairy tales in Fairy Tale Lust, so if you like one, you'll certainly enjoy the other!

Awww. You both are so nice. And I try to cover it, but like previously stated, I just have to watch how much I reveal. It's not so bad with erotica books, but with full-length novels, it can be harder to avoid doing it.

After all the talk about it tonight, I'm going to have to pick it up. Sounds too good to miss!

And could be played by Angelina Jolie in a movie version, right?

It really just came out? I totally didn't know that. I knew it was new, but I didn't know it was that new. Fairy Tale Lust is pretty new too, isn't it?

I can definitely see full length novels as causing a big issue there.

Both books came out July 1, actually! It's "F" month for Cleis Press anthologies.

I wonder if it is out of print and needs to be republished by a very smart publisher?

The two actual book novels I've reviewed are both Cleis Press ones: Carrie's Story and the sequel, Safe Word.

Why do I have the impression that sacchigreen is Alison. I'm sorry Kristina, but you had to leave us guessing. And I think someone got it wrong the first time.

PHEW! I am finally caught up... ya'll have been busy tonight.

Welcome Alison!!!

So, I have a question for both Kristina and Alison, as editors of these anthologies: Is it more work or more fun to wade through all the submissions you get and pick what's going to go in your book? On the surface it seems like an absolute dream gig, but I am sure it's not entirely fun and games.

I haven't decided how into a full length erotica I would be yet. I like to be able to set my erotica down whenever and not feel like I'm going to miss the plot while I'm away, lol

I love Violet Blue! Okay, so the only book I read by her was the Smart Girl's Guide to the G-Spot, but it rocked!

Oh well /blush. I got it wrong too. I guess that having one's real name prevents the possibility of doubt and double guessing.

Welcome!

Yeah. With these full-length erotica books, you'll definitely miss the plot. It's more plot than sex which is exactly why I love them.

I'm glad to hear that got a good review from you, I think I vaguely remember buying it but it got misplaced without the proper time to read it, lol
