I find that I set aside one day of the week to clean all of my toys. It's usually on a Friday since it's the end of the week and I'm not really all that busy. I keep all my dirty toys and set them in a plastic shoe box with a towel in it (most of them are glass)and slide it under the bed until cleaning day. It may not be the safest thing to do, but all of my toys are non-porous. The porous toys get washed immediately.

There are those days where the toy has so much lubricant on it that cleaning it after use is a must, but it's only once in a while. And to be honest, I try to clean my toys after use when I can. I just keep that plastic box there for those nights when the orgasms have sucked the life out of me.

What I'm wondering is, does anyone else do something like this? Or do you stick to an immediate or daily cleaning ritual?

Whenever I'm done with a session, I usually use the bathroom afterward (either because I have to or because I want to prevent getting a UTI), so I just wash my toys then. If I'm extremely exhausted, I'll wash them the morning after.

I usually clean my toys after use. Sometimes I leave it til the next morning if I'm really tired. I don't think I'd want to leave it for a week though, because the lube would be all dried on and it would probably be harder to clean.

I try to clean my toys after using or if tired, I spray them and take care of them in the am.
I don't schedule cleanings but I boil some plugs when I feel they need it but they are washed first.

I try to clean my toys after each use, however if we fall asleep i like to clean them the next day..i dont like leaving them sit because the live will dry up and look nasty!

I should mention that with the non-glass toys, I still tend to rinse them quickly when I get up to go rinse myself off after sex. But I don't do the full out cleaning.

I only use water-based lubricants, and you'll find that once they come in contact with hot water and scrub brush, cleaning takes less than a minute per toy.

99% of the time it is right after. There is the very odd occasion where I am just too tired and I leave it til the morning.

Same for me.

I will usually clean my toy right after. But if it is late and I am tired as hell, I sometimes wait to the next morning to clean my toys. But this is rare.

I'll often leave them for in the morning, or at least some time the next day. I have certain toys that are my favorites, and I don't think I could be patient enough to only clean them once a week - I want them back in rotation quickly! LOL

When I was living in the dorm, I had a communal bathroom which made it hard to clean toys. I would wipe them down with a soap/water mix as soon as I was done with them, and then at the end of the year I took them all downstairs to the locking bathroom for a deep scrub, wash, and rinse under boiling hot water.

If I play at night, it's usually just before going to sleep. And if it's after one of Master's workouts, the last thing I'm going to do is get up to wash an armful of toys (he loves a variety!).
So I'll leave them til morning/mid morning - whenever I get up.
I have porous toys and yet never had any issue at all washing them the next morning.

Other times - during the day, I'll wash them straight away or in the shower if it's early evening.

From time to time, I'll go through my cabinet and just give every toy a good wash/freshen up and re-organise.

I almost always clean them right after. Sometimes I get so exhausted, that they have to wait until morning. Often, I'll spritz them with some toy cleaner until I get to the sink in the morning, (if it's evening sex, daytime sex and they are always cleaned right away) I keep a bottle of toy wash in the cubby of the headboard of our bed, along with Kleenex. So, at least a minimal cleaning is usually done. Then, I get them clean with water and soap in the morning, if I was too tired or feel asleep the night before.

Once in a while, a dil or a vibrator will get put under a pillow, where we put them while doing other things, and it gets forgotten about. I've lost plugs in bed, and we have to search for them the next day. The poor Wahl often gets thrown on the floor, and I had to retrieve it by pulling the cord so I can clean it. Sometimes it lies there until morning.

Most of the time, I clean up right after. I usually have to use the bathroom afterwards, anyway. If I want to wait, though, I'll use toy wipes for a fast clean-up, then do a proper job later on. The longest I'll wait is the next morning.

I typically clean them directly after use, but sometimes it would just ruin the mood to have to get up and wash my toys. Sometimes, it just has to wait til later!

I don't always use toys that I insert in me, i usually just use them for clitoral stimulation. I was a lot better about cleaning them the next morning when I did use a rabbit style vibrator that I inserted. I use baby wipes right after, because I use them before bed and like to just fall asleep after I tire myself out.

The next morning, or before I use them next, I wash them thouroughly.

I clean them right after use with antibacterial soap or toy cleaner, then about once a month, when I have nothing better to do, I clean all of them, normally with alcohol and/or super hot water.
