I am one of those people who never read the owner's manual for anything, I usually just start using what ever it is and figure it out as I go. This drives my partner absolutely crazy, when ever we get a new toy or household item that come with instructions for use he's always asking me 'did you read the manual?' and my answer is usually always no lol. Most of my toys now come with manuals too, and I'll fully admit that I'm usually so excited to play with something new that completely ignore instruction manuals. I usually don't read them until after I've already used the toy a time or two or I can't figure out how to work it on my own which isn't often. I do read it eventually but not before use. Is anyone else like this or are you like my partner, you've got to read it two or three times before you'll even think about using the product?
Do you read the manual before playing with your new toy?

Instructions and assembly directions are like the pirate code...more like suggestions

I usually check the manual for instructions for before use, like washing a certain way or whatnot.

I do sometimes they have good ideas on how not to get shocked.

Oh hell no I don't want to read instructions. I only go to the manual when something just doesn't seem right after I've tried everything else. LOL and after cursing didn't work either.

Agreed - these toys are mostly intuitive. If I need a manual it's unnecessarily complex!

My toys are pretty straight forward. But I do eye the brochure quickly for instructions on care.

Hell no. I never read instructions.

The only time I ever read the instructions is if the toy has a crazy amount of features and functions that I can't figure out on my own.

I agree completely, and I have found that instead of reading the instructions I go read the review because we are able to put it in better terms than the Destructions!!!!

I read the instructions for products I'm reviewing. Otherwise, no.
