I just recently had my first orgasm... I now know why mama use to say "oh you'll know if you really did" my question is any advice on how to relax and have a more sensational orgasm? I tend to tense up and almost hold back

Omg congratulations! I had my first one just over a year ago and I used to do the same thing. As you get used to the (new) feeling, you'll learn to relax. That's how it was for me, at least. Keep exploring! You may want to consider low lighting, candles, perhaps some lavender to help you calm down.

Again, congratulations, and keep at it!

I have struggled with this when I use certain toys. Sometimes I have to change my vibration speeds so it's not so intense. I have to get used to the intensity of the vibrations and then go back on a higher one.

The best advice I can give you is take a breath. It's so easy to put a lot of pressure on yourself to recreate the magic. Tensing your pelvic floor or kegel muscles is actually essential to building that tension, so if it feels good to tense your abs, your butt and your vagina, do it. Make sure you are either naturally lubricated or use a good water based lube. Wetter is better! The lube heightens your sensitivity and reduces friction. Most of all, let the arousal build rather than jumping straight in.

I'm not gonna lie, climaxing for me in most cases is far from to be a breeze. There are a lots of factors that might influence the ability to achieve orgasm - stress, anxiety, too much stimulation, too little stimulation, sedentary lifestyle and many others. I've read somewhere that even wearing high heels might cause troubles with getting off. Majority of women have to overcome numerous obstacles to reach orgasm finally! But I believe difficulties shouldn't keep us from deserved and desired pleasure.

From my experience, to make orgasms easier to reach, I should be super aroused beforehand. So don't underestimate excellent, proper foreplay - when you are highly aroused, it is much easier to relax and let your body go with pleasant sensations.

Another important thing is there should be enough lubrication. Nothing pleasurable gonna happen in a dry way. If your body doesn't produce sufficient lubrication, it makes sense to buy and use some lube.

Also quite helpful is exploring your body constantly via masturbation, for example. Adding sex toys to it could be very useful. When you know better what turns you on the most, where your erogenous zones are and what intensity and tempo of touches you prefer, the higher chances to have a mind-blowing orgasm.

Everyone is different, and for each person ways to climax could be different. Keep exploring, keep trying various methods, positions, techniques, toys, scenarios and everything will work out for sure!

And considering the fact you've already managed to achieve your first orgasm, further it should become more and more simple to do it again.

Oh, don't feel like you are alone there Leil, I too have now struggled with achieving orgasm.
Occasionally it will take so long to reach orgasm that I feel that I have to just give up to save my partner from telling me she's had enough. I'm one of those guys who did not experience much if any refractory period in my youth and even middle age. So going from being very much multi-orgasmic to often non-orgasmic is frustrating as well as a blow to my self esteem.

1st - congratulations on starting down the path of a healthier life! No kidding, the stress relief and hormonal impacts of orgasm will make you a happier, healthier person.

Like a lot of things, the 1st can be the hardest. Once you learn what works for you - you can guide you and your partner's actions to get you there again.

The more orgasms you have, the easier it should get! Enjoy your orgasms - but after a while, start to explore your multi-orgasmic potential. My wife has 3-5 orgasms every time we are together - I think her record is like 25 over a couple of intense days!
