Find a really boring container to put your toys in. Something really stupid that won't be at all enticing. Keeps prying eyes away.

Rechargeable batteries save TONS of money on battery-powered vibes--but not every toy runs well rechargeables, so it's worth trying both disposable and rechargeable.
For toys that I don't like on the first try, I make myself use them at least four times before I give up. Not sure if that's good advice or if it's just stubborn, though. Hah.

Allowing silicone toys to air-dry cuts down on lint by quite a bit.

Baggies are awesome; you can store all your toys in one place, keep them lint free, and still see them.
